My Mother and I had a very respectful and dignified experience having my Father cremated after his recent passing. The choices for his urn, prayer card, and military flag box was great. As much as we are suffering from his loss, we are grateful to have a caring individual who understood this difficult time. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful experience working with Blair at Myrtle Beach Funeral Home. She was a great source of calm, expertise, kindness, and thoughtfulness regarding my dad. She coordinated getting him from SC to WV and even helped get his 21 gun salute and military honors planned as well. Obviously no one wants to have to go through anything related to funeral home services, yet she made things a lot easier with her kindness, professionalism, respect, and proactiveness. My wife's father passed sooner than we expected from cancer. Making arrangements for him seemed like a daunting task. Blair made this process easy. Walking me through all the documentation needed for the cremation. I never felt pressured to add-on services we did not need. The deceased was presented in a dignified manner. The family was very pleased and we said our final goodbyes. Blair took her time in this process. Explained the timeline in which the cremation would take place. She was very compassionate to our needs.

We had the privilege of working with Brad and the staff with the passing of our father. They handled everything professionally and personally and really made it feel special throughout the whole process and more importantly made it worry free for me and my sister. The passing of my father was very unexpected. We weren’t sure what funeral/cremation home we wanted to use. We ended up choosing Myrtle Beach Funeral Home and Crematory. Carol was very pleasant, courteous, and helpful with conversation over the phone and when we came in person. Carol’s daughter Blair was very accommodating to us, very knowledgeable, pleasant to work with, courteous, kind, and helpful. The whole process through Myrtle Beach Funeral Home and Crematory has left a positive impact in knowing that I would definitely return in the future should the need arise again.

We had a lovely experience with this funeral home, namely Eddy, when my brother passed in May 2022. Since our experience was so good before, when my mother passed away on the first of this month, we assumed we'd receive the same quality this go round. Both experiences were complete opposites. First of all, my mother died on a Saturday, I contacted the funeral home on Monday about choosing their services, paid everything in full in cash on Tuesday, waited for them to contact me so my sisters and I could have a final viewing, but heard nothing until I called them both Wednesday AND Thursday, then found out Thursday that there was a "miscommunication" and they hadn't even picked her body up from the coroner's office yet. They couldn't explain to us what exactly the miscommunication was. We finally got to see her Friday afternoon. With my brother, the prayer cards we paid for were wonderful quality, they even printed us extra at no charge because so many people showed up to his service, which was unexpected. They're printed on card stock, with an image we picked on the back and a photo of him and a prayer on the front. Legible, the photo is a good size, etc. With my mother, they're le

My son passed away the end of October 2019 unexpectedly. So we had to go from Michigan to South Carolina to deal with everything. We contacted them before we left to go down there and they sent us papers via the computer to get him taken care of ahead of time. When we got there they where very helpful and polite and understanding. They even went out of their way to do some little extras for us which they didn't have to do. It was more then appreciated by all of us. Even my daughter who came from Alabama said how very nice everyone was to all of us considering our circumstances. We can not Thank everyone there enough for what they did for us and how they made us feel. I am more then grateful for them and their help to all of us. I couldn't of asked for a more compassionate group of people. They are very reasonably priced also and did an absolutely wonderful job! Thank you Jim, Bob, and entire staff for being so wonderful and caring! Thank you from Michael's entire family for being so good with us! We would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

My daddy passed away in April and Mr. Jim himself came out to pick daddy up. It was one of the hardest days of my life. I went by the funeral home to fill out paperwork and Mr. Jim immediately tried to reassure me. Made a pot a coffee and put some cookies out. Asked if I had eaten. Very nice and personable and sensitive to the fact I just lost my daddy. The staff has been very helpful through the whole process. We are having daddys memorial now and even after all these months they are still helping our family. I needed help in getting the Navy to do the honor services or play taps. I sent an email in the evening and Bob responded the next morning, they didn't waste any time. I would recommend Myrtle Beach Funereal Home and I have. As hard as it was daddy leaving us know that the staff here was sensitive and compassionate helped in getting through this difficult time.
